Die-cutting
Die-cutting uses a stencil type die to cut through materials such as paper and card on a die press, the die can be used numerous times.
Perforating
Perforating is the process of punctuating a printed sheet with a row of minuscule holes so it can be ripped easily and neatly.
Creasing
Creasing causes the area of the paper to be weakened so it is easier to fold and reduces breaking in the fold.
Foiling
Foil stamping is the use of a malleable metallic material applied to the print surface by using heat and pressure.
Embossing
Embossing refers to raising or pressing parts of the page for emphasis and texture, producing shadows and highlights.
Kiss-cutting
A kiss cut refers to a cut through the sticker layer to ‘kiss’ the backing paper, not cutting all the way through the backing paper.
